1) please introduce yourself and your team to our community and tell your crypto story

I’ve been in crypto since 2013, but I have been working as an art curator and art manager for the last 10 years. In this time, I’ve done 20 art exhibitions in London and Tokyo and worked with massive artists including Damien hirst and brands like Paul smith clothing to name a few. It has always been my mission to help smaller artists get into the art world I grew up in it and frankly it needs to be rebuilt. Since finding btc in 2013 I was thinking about ways that art could be done on blockchain. It wasn’t until 2017 with crypto kitties that I saw a real possibility for that to happen and at that point I decided to start work on creating the bae. I’m the CEO of the BAE but I also take the role of hands-on management to help artists develop their craft and reach their dreams.

2) What is BAE all about explain it along with usecases and Vision

this is a rather long one
mybae.io was built to disrupt the art world which I grew up in and remove the middlemen from the artworld giving artists the freedom to create work at a low cost and reach a worldwide community of buyers.
Its main use case is the minting of your artwork and selling it but we also pride ourselves in coming up with the best smart contract solutions to keep gas as cheap as possible and if we can remove it completely all while retaining a completely decentralised platform.
For example, our unique uniswap contract removes friction from buying nfts. For all standard tokens we charge 4% but if sellers choses baepay they pay 0% commission. Our contract also has the totally unique factor of charging no gas for listing price changes and re listing an NFT after just one approve.
The next vision for the bae is the gallery system which will allow people to create self-launched contracts and completely free minting for anyone they invite onto their gallery. They will also be able to set what royalty’s and contract owner fee they have. The final goal of this system is to allow people to also invest in the galleries in return gaining a % of all sales that gallery makes like a kind of uniswap for NFT galleries.
Finally as a person with 10 years in the art industry I don’t think about things in the short term my vison for this product spans years. I take the view of where will it be in 3, 5 or even 10 years+

The total final supply is 9.5 million we recently did a 500k burn which brought it down from 10 million. Each week 20k baepay is sent directly to providers of liquidity on uniswap v2 based on the % of the pool they hold, we also have plans to start sending a % of all platform fees to holders however this is on hold until the platform is completed. This 20k a week will keep going until 2 million baepay is sent and we may continue it longer if our token holder want too. The rest is 1% for the team 2% was airdropped at the start and 1% is held for press and contest drops. all reaming tokens will be given via awards to users or liquidity providers over time. Finally when all tokens are distributed we will turn the BAE into a DAO and a governance system will be installed.

3) Can you explain the various features of your website so our community gets familiar with them

Right now, the key features are all there you can create art freely, make offers do fixed sales with the uniswap contract and escrow-based auctions. We also have an awards-based system for users to earn Baepay via doing social auctions on the platform this removes the issue of wash trading and allows us to provide better incentives for people to make better artwork.
4) Explain about how a user can create a nft and get it listed and what fees are charged by you in the same and why should a person prefer to list his nft on your platform out of so many platforms existent

We offer only 4% fees for the use of our fixed sale contract, 1% on auctions and 0% if the user uses baepay. On upload we currently charge a small fee but even with this the upload fee is far lower than other platforms. Soon however with the gallery system we will remove the need for a mint cost at all. We also take far more responsibility than other platform for what is on our platform. We do this by taking verification very seriously to the point where if we verify an artist who later turns out to be producing fakes we will refund the buyers not even the fully curated platforms offer this levels of responsibility to their buyers.

there is no tx fee other than the normal erc20 one
yes we build on eth since 2018 so we are sticking to our choice i believe that eths issues with gas will be solved and moving chain is a whild goose chase better to wait it out than run around chasing the lowest fees
eth also has taken the lead it would be very hard for another chain to win when it comes to dapps

Q1 How does BAE guarantee buyers that all artworks sold at your community are authentic and original? What process do you go through to determine the authenticity of a work of art? Is there a team of specialists who evaluate the paintings before they are published on the platform? @Lidiamga

We are an open platform so anyone can upload, however we take verification very seriously any one with a blue checkmark on our platform we are backing as real with our own money. With a team with over 10 years in the artworld we have an eye for spotting fakes.
you have to upload at least one artwork and email us with your socials and 5 artworks as an example only one needs to be minted though

Q3 I saw recently that BAE is holding the first crypto art exhibition in Japan which is dominating the press. So what are your expansion plans for real life? After this event do you have any other event to increase adoption about BAE project? @themiracleboy0

Yes we are working on a part 3 to cryptokyo in late October this year and plan next year to start building it into the largest crypto trade show in Asia. The end goal is to make it like the consensus of Asia but this may take a few years to get to this level we will keep art at the centre of it always though, booths will be sold for baepay only.
The gallery system will be heavily influencer driven but using ones that have real communities of real people not trash ones that bring down the quality of the platform to get short term gains.

We have since developed into v3 which is mybae.io . I have passion to not only build a product that is the best but also make the world a better place so for me this isn’t about a short term gain this is a lifetime commitment to change the artworld for the better and make as many artists as possible successful. To me our only real competitors are the platforms that launched in the same year the rest are just opportunists in my opinion. We were here when eth was 100 usd it could drop to that again and we would keep going.
Q5 By default do I just have to have a token to buy nft?Holding utility tokens have many use cases in nft For example,do you support the user to steak and farm tokens for exchange with nft?Another application is the nft market Can I use it as a payment currency in the market? @MuhamedKaif1

You can use eth on mybae too and sellers can use dai and a few others we can add more on request. The only requirement is that they have a uni v2 pool otherwise they wont work with our contract. We strongly believe that incentives are key to producing real results as such we charge 0% for the use of baepay. Aside form this being a huge use case for the token we also believe that we don’t really need to collect fees on our own token as that seems counterproductive.
For liquidity staking you just have to provide liquidity to the uniswap v2 pool and you will get weekly drops direct to your wallet 20k baepay divided between all holders based on % and at a later date platform fees too.
